EQ7016 is a basic coated hydrogen-controlled electrode for welding of 490 N/mm2 grade high tensile strength low alloy steel structures, such as shipbuilding, buildings, machineries, etc. The flux coating formula not only optimizes mechanical properties, also promotes a low hydrogen potential in the weld metal.
EQ7016 is suitable for all positions welding, with easy slag removal.
Notes on usage:
1.Dry the electrodes at 300 – 350°C for 60 minutes and keep it at 100 – 150 °C before use.
